Machining refers to a process of changing the dimensions or performances of a workpiece with a mechanical device.
Definition of cutting fluid
Cutting fluid refers to a kind of industrial liquid to cool and lubricate cutting tools and processing parts in the process of cutting and grinding, which is compounded by a variety of super-functional additives with a good cooling performance, lubrication performance, anti-rust performance, degreasing performance, anti-corrosion performance and easy dilution.
According to the chemical composition, cutting fluid is divided into non-water-soluble (oil-based) liquid and water-soluble (water-based) liquid.
MORESCO mainly produces water-based cutting fluids.
Water-based cutting fluid can be divided into emulsified liquid, semi-synthetic cutting fluid and fully synthetic cutting fluid.
The classification of emulsified liquid, semi-synthetic cutting fluid and fully synthetic cutting fluid is based on the type of base oil in the product: the emulsified liquid is the water-soluble cutting fluid with only mineral oil; the semi-synthetic cutting fluid is the water-soluble cutting fluid containing both mineral oil and chemosynthesis base oil; and fully synthetic cutting fluid is the water-soluble cutting fluid only containing chemosynthesis base oil (without mineral oil).
